MFR Weigh Cells . . .
A new dawn in integrated weighing

Wipotec weigh cells use Magnetic Force Restoration (MFR) technology, based on the electromagnetic force compensation principle. They provide exceptionally fast, high resolution weight measurements specifically designed for industrial applications. This precision weighing technology, formerly limited to the lab, is now available for use in industrial environments. Conventional load cells require external signal conditioning and Analog-to-Digital Converters. The Kg Systems solution provides a built-in component with direct serial output of weight values. Various interface options facilitate easy integration into weight measurement and control equipment.

Live-load capacities range from 2 grams to 300 kilograms with the various series of weigh cells. For example, the weigh cell model WZ 300 has the following specifications: live-load = 100 grams, dead load offset range up to 300 grams and an internal accuracy of 20 bit / 1,000,000 counts yielding a solid readability of 0.001 gram. The unit of measurement can be calibrated individually as needed (i.e. ounces, pounds, carats, grams etc.). The weigh cells comply with strict OIML international standards, so you can be assured they are tough, reliable and accurate.
